Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.Job Summary:The Model Maker I will work with various composite and 3D printed materials and maintain the workarea in a clean and orderly condition. The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by teammembers on project work and customer interactions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Surface parts and fit components for assemblies.* Develop composite tooling and molds.* Create foam plank build-ups.* Laminate with epoxy resins and carbon composites.* Participate in vac-form disciplines.* Operate shop equipment, including hand tools, and perform preventive maintenance.* Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.Education and Experience (required):* High school diploma or equivalent.* 2+ previous experience required.Education and Experience (preferred):* Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related.* Valid driver"s license.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required):* Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.* Good attention to detail and organizational skills.* Able to work independently and as part of a team.* Has own tools with toolbox.* Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions..Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (preferred):* Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
